The Daily Mail reports that the Metropolitan Police will be using live facial recognition at the Notting Hill Carnival. Our Founder, Rory Geoghegan said:

“Using live facial recognition at events like Notting Hill Carnival is common sense.”

“It helps police identify suspects wanted for serious crimes – people who should be in prison, not walking our streets or hiding in crowds.”

‘The public rightly expects the police to use every lawful tool to keep us safe.”
